Venue

9:30 AMfirst match

Games are played indoors at In The Net Sports Complex, 798 Airport Rd, Palmyra, PA 17078 — a 107 × 60 yard indoor turf dome. Use the directions link above to get there. Parking is free.

Plan to arrive by 9:00 AM so your squad is warmed up and ready for the 9:30 AM first match. We play on turf — cleats or turf shoes are fine, but no metal cleats on the turf. The dome runs cool in November, so bring layers, plus water, food for the day, and knee or elbow pads if you use them.

Eat before you come

Matches run back-to-back from a 9:30 AM start straight through the day — that's your window to eat what you brought between matches. Eat before you arrive and pack food for the day.

Move quickly between matches — snack and hydrate while your captain sets the next lineup, rather than one after the other. Other teams are waiting on you, so keep the pace. Plan to be on site until 6:00 PM, so pack enough food and water to last.

Keep the day moving

Game Flow

Between matches
10–20 minutes max, tighter if the schedule's behind.
01The moment your match ends, find out who's next and which court
02Head back to your team area — snack, hydrate, and get ready while your captain sets the lineup
03Not starting? Stay ready — subs happen in and out as needed
Between rounds
Round to round of the same match — no team-area trip.
01Just a quick water break — not a return to the team area
02Stay on the field while your captain sets the next round's lineup

Match Format & Rules

Scoring
01Games to 21, cap at 25
02Single serve rotation once the score hits 20–21
03Every match is 2 rounds · No overtime
04Placing team (Team A) chooses serve or receive
05Standings points (3 for a win / 1 for a tie) count for qualifying matches — divisional matchups, or a lower-division team beating a higher-division team
06Boundary lines mark the court — a ball landing on the line is in bounds unless cones say otherwise
Schedule & rules
01Team Elo drives playoff seeding and at-large spots at the championship — a higher Elo means more say in picking your opponent, and every game matters
02All newly approved USAR rules in effect — equal serving, the larger NHZ, shorter boundary, and other league-adopted updates
03Non-divisional matches (playing a different division) are low-risk — neither team has standings points on the line, only Team Elo
04If the lower-division team wins, they're awarded 3 standings points and the game counts toward their total games played
05If the lower-division team loses or ties, the match doesn't count toward standings at all — Elo only
06The higher-division team's standings are never affected by a non-divisional match, win or lose — only their Elo moves

Matchday Schedule

9:30–6play window

Play starts 9:30 AM sharp. Every match is 2 rounds — 78 matches across six rounds of play, Pro and Minor running side by side. The times down the side are the order of play, not a promise: a match should take about 45 minutes with a short break before the next one starts on that net.

If teams keep to that pace the day flows — if transitions drag, it slides, and it pretty much always slides. Plan to be there until 5:30–6:00 PM.

Fresh matchups all day: no pairing on either schedule repeats a Matchday 1 pairing from Richmond. Pro plays entirely inside its own conference; Minor squads each play five matches, with ten cross-conference matchups mixed in.

Packed78 matches

We start at 9:30 AM sharp, and transitions have to be quick. The day is full — if transitions drag, the whole day slides.

If the schedule runs long, you may be unable to play a match, or a match may be cut short before it finishes. The league is not responsible for unfinished matches due to long transitions, and will come to a reasonable solution in the event a match is cut short or unable to happen.

Up to 2 scorekeepers per squad — it's simple to do on a phone.

Scorekeepers must be non-players — a friend, family member, or supporter, not someone also playing that day.
